What’s included in the price?
Every event and project is unique and requires different level of preparation, planning, technical setup, travel, and accommodation.

- Whether you need interpreting, translation, or editing services.
- A brief description of your event (date, location, number of guests for interpreting), or the text/project you need translated or edited.
Additional Pricing Info
- Travel costs apply for events outside Prague.
- For simultaneous interpreting sessions longer than 30 minutes, two interpreters are required.
- For events that are streamed or recorded, a 50% surcharge applies to the interpreting fee.
Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise agreed:
- More than 14 days before the event: 0% cancellation fee
- 7–14 days before the event: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 7 days before the event: 100% cancellation fee
What’s the difference between consecutive and simultaneous interpreting?
Consecutive Interpreting – The speaker talks in short segments, followed by interpretation.
- Suitable for small groups, meetings, and business negotiations.
- Only one interpreter needed; no special equipment required.
- Speeches take roughly 50% longer due to interpretation.
Simultaneous Interpreting with Booth – Translation is delivered in real time through headsets.
- Ideal for larger events, conferences, or formal occasions.
- Suitable when multiple languages are required.
- Does not interrupt the speaker’s flow.
- Highest sound quality.
- Requires two interpreters for events longer than 30 minutes.
- Interpreting equipment and a booth are required (I can provide both).
Whispered Simultaneous Interpreting – Translation is delivered in real time through headsets using a whispering system.
- Mid-range, cost-effective solution.
- Suitable for up to 20 attendees.
- Does not interrupt the speaker’s flow.
- Requires two interpreters and good acoustics.
- Equipment rental required (I can provide both).
What’s the cost of interpreting services?
Pricing is always customized and depends on several factors, such as event duration, location, topic, number of languages, and more.
In general, interpreting is priced as:
- Half-day events (up to 4 hours): 250–300 EUR
- Full-day events (more than 4 hours): 400–600 EUR

When is it worth hiring a human translator?
Machine translation and AI tools are useful for everyday personal use, when you need a quick understanding of text in another language.
For professional use, however, they still have significant limitations.
A skilled human translator is worth the investment when:
- You need to translate text that represents or sells your brand (marketing campaigns, websites, newsletters, etc.).
- Accuracy and consistent terminology are important (technical documents, product descriptions, specialized content).
- The text contains sensitive or personal data that must remain confidential (AI tools may use data for model training, send it abroad, or expose it to third parties).
- You need to translate legally binding documents (contracts, statutes, declarations, informed consent forms, travel documents) — in some cases, a certified translation may be required.
- The text is creative or artistic (literary translation, film subtitles, video games) and requieres human creativity.
Using machine translation in these cases may save money in the short term, but it can lead to long-term financial or reputational risks.
